Giovanni Taliaferro

Giovanni Taliaferro has extensive work experience in the design industry. Giovanni began their career as a Graphic Designer at HLI from June 2001 to August 2002.

In November 2002, Giovanni joined Hard Rock International as a Memorabilia Designer. Giovanni served as the team leader for the Memorabilia design team and directed installation teams throughout the company. Giovanni was responsible for designing layouts, selecting pieces, using computer graphic programs, and developing custom artwork for each location. Giovanni held this position until March 2014.

From March 2014 to January 2018, Giovanni served as the Design Manager - Memorabilia at Hard Rock International. In this role, they oversaw a team of memorabilia designers and was responsible for creating designs for hotels, casinos, and restaurants under the Hard Rock brand. Giovanni provided artistic direction to installation teams worldwide, ensured projects met budget and time requirements, and developed standard operating procedures for memorabilia design to maintain consistency across the organization.

Giovanni was promoted to Director of Memorabilia Design at Hard Rock International in January 2018 and held this position until May 2022. In this role, they continued to oversee the design process for memorabilia and contributed to the overall style and aesthetic of the Hard Rock brand.

In May 2022, Giovanni was appointed as the Vice President of Memorabilia and Design at Hard Rock International, where they currently hold a leadership position.

Giovanni Taliaferro obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Liberal Arts from Laurel Ridge Community College, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Giovanni then pursued a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art/Graphic Design from James Madison University, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001.
