Gabriela Magaña

Research Consultant at Harder+Company Community Research

Gabriela is skilled in quantitative and qualitative research analysis of social programs and policies related to immigration, health, and environmental justice. She has broad experience recruiting study participants; conducting surveys, interviews, and focus groups; translating, coding, and analyzing data; and sharing research findings. She is also adept at communicating effectively to diverse audiences in both English and Spanish.

Before joining Harder+Company, Gabriela was a research assistant for the Center for Healthcare Policy and Research at the University of California, Davis. There she maintained participant databases and assisted with analysis of an ongoing study related to healthcare choices in patients with multiple chronic conditions. She is a strong believer in using the power of data to solve social problems. Outside of work, Gabriela enjoys playing board games and trying new food destinations.
