Hamad Altourah has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and editing. Hamad started their career as a Director and Producer's Assistant at Halal Films in 2008, where they worked on film festival submissions, television sales, and assisted with budgeting and payroll. In 2011, they worked as an Assistant Director at H FILMS, where they supervised and budgeted on-location expenses for client projects. Hamad also worked as a Camera Operator for Mishal Husain Meets... at BBC Worldwide. In 2013, they joined New York University as a Videographer/Editor, producing content for the Asian/Pacific/American Institute. Their responsibilities included filming and editing footage of public events and coordinating production workflow. During the same year, they also worked as a Freelance Video Producer for Fon, creating video web content and product spec demos. In 2014, they produced and edited a Kickstarter campaign video for Q Is For Queens. Later in 2016, they joined HardPIn as a Video Editor, where they were responsible for turning raw materials into polished videos for online and broadcast delivery. Throughout their career, Hamad Altourah has gained experience in various aspects of video production and has worked with different companies and clients.
Hamad Altourah pursued their education at New York University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Hamad attended this institution from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they furthered their academic journey at the same university, obtaining a Master's Degree in Film and Television Production from 2009 to 2013.
