Eric Oberstein serves as the Managing Director of Harlem Stage, a distinguished performing arts center in New York dedicated to supporting artists of color through a range of transformative initiatives. With a prolific background as a music producer and project manager, Oberstein has achieved recognition as a 2x GRAMMY and 2x Latin GRAMMY winner. Previous roles include Interim Director of Duke Performances, where strategic arts engagement was prioritized, and Executive Director of the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance, under which the GRAMMY-winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra thrived. Oberstein’s academic credentials include a Master’s in Arts Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an Ed.M. in Arts in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, complemented by a robust involvement in arts management education at Duke University.
