Ashish Deshpande

Ashish Deshpande has a diverse and extensive work experience in quality assurance and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. Ashish is currently serving as Deputy Manager Quality Assurance at Harman Finochem Ltd, where they oversee the implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System. Ashish also leads supplier qualification, audits, and compliance activities.

Prior to their current role, Ashish worked at Harman Finochem Ltd as Assistant Manager Quality, where they implemented quality systems for a new oral solid dose project, resulting in the development of new disciplines and procedures. Ashish was responsible for GMP compliance, quality training, audit and compliance, CSV implementation, validation, and documentation control.

Ashish also gained experience at Wockhardt Ltd. as Jr. Executive in Global Technical Services, where they managed technical documentation for technology transfer, validation, and development. Ashish maintained quality disciplines and procedures, ensured compliance with Quality Management Systems, and coordinated with various technical functions for project management.

Furthermore, Ashish worked at Dr. Reddys as a Sr. Executive, primarily focusing on maintaining compliance in oral solid dose validation. Ashish handled process validation activities, reviewed dossiers and master production documents, conducted annual product quality reviews, and provided training and liaison support between departments.

In the early stages of their career, Ashish served as a QA Officer at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, gaining foundational experience in quality assurance.

Ashish Deshpande completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University from 2004 to 2008. Ashish then pursued a Master of Pharmacy degree with a specialization in Quality Assurance at Singhania University from 2009 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, Ashish obtained a CQI/IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification from TUV Nord in December 2019. Ashish also obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Change Management Foundations, Operational Excellence Foundations, Project Management Foundations: Communication, Project Management Foundations: Teams, and Six Sigma Foundations, all obtained in November 2020. Additionally, they acquired certifications in Foundations of GMP: Auditing and Foundations of GMP: Deviations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Tools and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) - Sequence flow for handling of any non-conformance in the GMP environment from the US Pharmacopeia in August 2021 and July 2021, respectively. Lastly, they became a certified Six Sigma Green Belt through a certification course on LinkedIn in December 2020.
