Andrew Hayes

Andrew Hayes has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andrew is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Harness since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Puppet for several years, starting as a Software Engineer and eventually becoming a Senior Software Engineer. At Puppet, Andrew played a key role in designing and creating a prototype serverless cloud-based Machine Learning service. Andrew was also involved in the design and implementation of 'Puppet Remediate' from its inception. Additionally, they worked as a QA Engineer at Puppet, where they contributed to the automated testing of the company's flagship product and collaborated with various teams to ensure feature requirements were met.

In addition to their roles at Harness and Puppet, Andrew was a Co Author at Packt in 2019, where they co-authored "The Go Workshop" and contributed to writing chapters, exercises, and code. Before that, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Andrew started their career as a Software Intern at BTI Systems in 2010.
