Arkadiusz Szostak

Arkadiusz Szostak has an extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Arkadiusz currently holds the position of Staff Software Engineer at Harness since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kigen as a Staff Software Developer and Senior Software Developer from 2020 to 2022. At Kigen, they were responsible for the design and implementation of the Consumer Remote Sim Provisioning solution, utilizing technologies such as Unix, Java Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, gRPC, and Shell. Arkadiusz also worked on the microservice architecture implementation and secure deployment of the system.

Before joining Kigen, Arkadiusz worked at Arm as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2020. At PwC, they served as an Application Security Manager from 2018 to 2019, focusing on Secure SDLC and the development of automated test frameworks using GOlang. Arkadiusz also contributed to the adoption of best development practices like TDD at PwC.

Prior to PwC, Arkadiusz worked at BT as a Grad/Prof/Senior Software Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Arkadiusz was involved in the full software development life cycle of embedded device software, primarily using C, Perl, and Shell scripting. Arkadiusz also gained experience in Java, Perl, and Bash scripting while working on smaller projects.

Arkadiusz started their career as a Graduate QA Engineer at Euronext and NYSE in 2014. At NYSE, they tested Feedhandlers for global financial institutions, running various types of tests and working closely with Senior Engineers.

Arkadiusz Szostak earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Software Development from Queen's University Belfast from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the same institution from 2008 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications including ISTQB Certified tester, Foundation Level from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in April 2014, and EDCL from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in June 2013.
