Bruce McPherson

Bruce McPherson has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Bruce currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Harness since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ZeroNorth as a Senior Director and Product Owner from April 2021 to November 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Bruce worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a People Manager and Product Owner. In this role, they managed a team and was responsible for developing a Hyperconverged Platform software. Bruce also served as the Product Owner for a scrum team focused on resource balancing.

In the year 2000, Bruce worked at Cerepoint as the Director of Product Development. Bruce led a team and met with customers to understand their requirements. In the earlier years of their career, from 1992 to 2000, they worked at RSA Security as the Manager of Client Software Development. In this role, they managed a team, delivered multiple products, and collaborated with major software vendors.

Bruce began their career in 1985 at Atex as a Senior Software Engineer/SQA Engineer, where they developed a terminal emulation package and designed and executed test plans.
