Praveen Solanki

Praveen Solanki has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Praveen is currently working at Harness as a Staff Software Engineer since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Compass as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2020 to September 2022, and at CarGurus as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2020 to June 2020.

Before joining the aforementioned companies, Praveen worked at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer from August 2016 to October 2019. During their time at AWS, they played a key role in designing and implementing features for the Database Migration Service, including support for Data Lakes use case and Change Data Capture feature for SqlServer.

Prior to AWS, Praveen worked at SimpliVity Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they were part of the Data Path team and focused on ensuring high availability and backups in the company's distributed storage system.

Before that, Praveen worked at EMC as a Software Engineer II from October 2010 to July 2014. Praveen was involved in delivering new abilities for supporting de-duplication, fault tolerance, low latency, and high scale in the File Systems teams for EMC's VNX/VNXe series of File and Block Storage appliances.

Earlier in their career, Praveen worked as a Web Developer for the Office of Provost at Northeastern University from January 2010 to April 2010. Praveen also served as a Research Assistant at the College of Computer Science, Northeastern University from January 2009 to December 2009, where they focused on checkpointing processes and reversible debugging on Linux.

Praveen's work experience began at Medtouch, where they worked as a Web Developer from January 2008 to August 2008. In this role, they developed website modules and utilized various technologies such as Tcl/Tk, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a CMS environment.

Throughout their career, Praveen has acquired extensive expertise in software development, database migration, distributed systems, and web development.

Praveen Solanki began their education at New Government School from 1999 to 2001. Praveen then attended Jai Narain Vyas University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at National Institute of Technology Warangal in 2006 for an unspecified period of time. Praveen later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Northeastern University from 2007 to 2010.
