Shyretha Brown

Shyretha Brown, PhD, is an accomplished scientist and educational leader with extensive experience in biochemistry, nutrition, and STEM education. As the Founder, President, and CEO of Building Bridges, Inc. since January 2018, Shyretha has developed a non-profit organization focused on providing STEM exposure and self-awareness education to young girls worldwide, successfully conducting over 150 programs and engaging more than 3,000 students and 150 volunteers. Currently serving as a Community Education Instructor at Harper College, Shyretha teaches poetry courses while previously holding the position of Senior Scientist at PepsiCo's Gatorade Sports Science Institute, where significant innovations occurred, including contributions to the Gx Sweat Patch and Gatorlyte. Shyretha's academic journey includes a PhD in Biology from Tennessee State University and research roles that advanced understanding of immune responses to environmental toxins.
