Natalie Morrill is a Full-time Professor of Professional Writing at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where responsibilities include teaching creative writing and editing courses, developing course materials, and assessing student work. In addition to their academic role, Morrill is an author, with the debut novel "The Ghost Keeper" published by HarperCollins Canada in 2018. Morrill serves as the Fiction Editor for Dappled Things Magazine, collaborating with authors and selecting works for publication. Previous experience includes teaching roles at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College, Laurentian University, and providing mentorship through various initiatives, such as iSisters Ottawa and NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action. Morrill holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from The University of British Columbia and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and English Language and Literature from Queen's University.
