Helen Newstead started their work experience in 1995 as an Editor at Larousse. Helen then joined HarperCollins Publishers in 1999, where they held various roles including Editor, Managing Editor, and Digital Development Director. In 2007, they became a Freelance Publishing Professional before rejoining HarperCollins as the Head of Language Content in 2014. Most recently, they have been working as a Freelance Consultant since 2019.
Helen Newstead obtained a PGCert in e-Learning from The University of Edinburgh between 2007 and 2011. Helen also earned an MA in Hispanic Studies from the same university from 1989 to 1994.
