Julie Higgins

Julie Higgins has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Julie currently works at HarperCollins Publishers as the Director of Finance - Centre of Excellence, where they oversee various financial functions for European affiliates. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Centre of Excellence at the same company, focusing on centralizing management accounting, sales data ingestion, treasury, AP, AR, and royalty functions. Julie also worked as a Centre of Excellence Project Lead. Before joining HarperCollins Publishers, they worked as a Contractor at Proserv for a brief period in 2019. In 2018, Julie worked as the Financial Systems Implementation Manager at Poppyscotland. Julie held the position of Head of Finance (Glasgow) at Arvato Financial Solutions from 2003 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Julie worked as an Application Consultant at Castle Computer Services and as an Accounts Assistant at Newood Telecom Ltd formerly Woodend Communications Ltd.

Julie Higgins completed the Executive Development Program in Leadership and Management at Imperial College Business School in 2023-2024. Prior to that, they attended Hamilton Grammar from 1985 to 1991. Additionally, they obtained certification in Lean Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn in 2019.
