Safa M.

Safa M. has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2005, Safa worked at Woolworths Limited as a Store Assistant, where responsibilities included customer service, stock control, and cash handling. In 2009, Safa joined Coca-Cola Amatil and held various roles, including QA Technician, Manufacturing Team Leader, and Quality Systems Coordinator. These positions involved ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing audits, and coordinating internal processes. In 2015, Safa transitioned to Asahi Beverages, where they served as a Quality Assurance Coordinator and later as a Quality Manager. Responsibilities included leading and managing the QA team, conducting audits, and driving quality and food safety systems. Safa then moved to Steric Trading Pty Ltd. in 2017, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager, Supply Chain & Quality Assurance Manager, and eventually as an Operations Manager. Safa's duties involved maintaining quality systems, coordinating audits, and developing and delivering training programs. Currently, Safa is employed as the Head of Safety, Risk & Compliance at Harris Farm Markets, a position they started in 2022. Overall, Safa M. has gained extensive experience in quality assurance, operations management, and compliance throughout their career.

Safa M.'s education history begins with their enrollment at Chester Hill High School from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Engineering (Industrial Chemistry). Following this, Safa M. attended UNSW from 2005 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Chemistry. In 2013, they obtained certifications in Food Safety Management Systems (RABQSA - FS) and ISO 9001-Management Systems (RABQSA - QM) from BSI. Additionally, in 2012, Safa M. acquired certifications in Management Systems Auditing Internal Auditor (RABQSA-AU) and Participate in a quality audit (BSBAUD402B) from SAI Global. More recently, they are currently pursuing an Executive MBA at UNSW, scheduled to be completed in 2024.
