Matthew Binder

Matthew Binder is currently a Broadcast Meteorologist at WFMZ-TV. Matthew also works as a Communications Teacher at Hempfield School District, teaching broadcasting and media communications to high school students. In addition, Matthew serves as a Science Teacher, educating students in astronomy, meteorology, geology, and oceanography. Matthew has experience as a Broadcast Meteorologist at WGAL 8 TV and WYOU. Matthew also works as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Meteorology at HACC and previously at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. During their time at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Matthew worked as a Summer Assistant in Atmospheric Research Lab. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Geoenvironmental Studies from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, and a Certificate in Instructional Technology/Media from Drury University.
