Wendell Morris is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as the Director of Safety and Security for the Harrisburg School District since October 2022. Prior to this role, Wendell served as the Chief of Police for Exeter Township from April 2019 to June 2022, overseeing all police department activities. Wendell's extensive career with the Pennsylvania State Police spanned from May 1993 to March 2018, where key positions included Major, responsible for Internal Affairs and Risk Management, and various roles leading initiatives related to equal employment opportunity and patrol operations. Wendell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University and completed advanced training at the FBI National Academy in 2015.
