Scott West

Scott West is a mechanical engineer and project manager with Harrison French & Associates in Fort Worth, TX. Scott is a technical lead in design and commissioning for commercial, industrial and federal building projects.

Scott has over 9 years of experience in the engineering field. Scott started their career at Affiliated Engineers, where they specialized in low energy and sustainable design for buildings and thermal plants. Scott then moved to Jacobs, where they worked on large chilled water systems and thermal energy storage, district hot water and steam systems and combined heat and power. In September 2015, Scott joined HKS, Inc. as a sustainability engineer, where they focused on reducing use for new and existing buildings by supporting an integrative design process. Scott oversaw energy modeling and LEED compliance activities and had experience with advanced HVAC system design. Scott joined Harrison French & Associates in August 2016 as a mechanical engineer.

Scott is certified by ASHRAE as a Building Commissioning Professional (BCxP), by the International Code Council as a Commercial Energy Inspector with ASHRAE 90.1 (G2), by the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), by LAPELS as a Professional Engineer (PE), by ASHRAE as a Building Energy Assessment Professional (BEAP), by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as a Professional Engineer (PE), and by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors as a Professional Engineer (PE).
