Alexis Gisselbrecht is a seasoned professional in real estate investment management, currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management for Europe at Harrison Street since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Fund Manager for Real Assets at AXA Investment Managers from October 2018 to May 2023, where management of pan-European value-add funds with over €1.1 billion in capital was central. Alexis also held the position of Senior Fund Manager at PATRIZIA Immobilien AG, overseeing the launch and management of a new value-add fund. Prior to these roles, experience at BlackRock spanned over a decade in various capacities, including Director in Real Estate and positions in the European investment management team. Early career experience includes roles at CarVal Investors and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Academically, Alexis holds an engineer diploma from Centrale Lyon and a certificate of specialisation in Finance from emlyon business school.
