Cory Brown has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Cory started their career in 1998 in the US Army and Army National Guard, where they served as a Soldier and later as a Recruiting and Retention Specialist. During their time in the military, Cory provided leadership and support to various organizations.

In 2008, Cory joined EPS Corporation as a Senior Operations Support Specialist, where they developed and managed a new program within the Alabama Army National Guard Recruiting Office. Cory also provided advisory support to executive leadership and assisted with Information Assurance and Security.

From 2010 to 2017, Cory worked at Cygnal as an SVP of Services, overseeing and managing services for the organization. Cory Brown has a diverse education history. Cory first attended Marion Military Institute from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associates of Arts degree. Cory then transferred to Auburn University from 1998 to 2001, majoring in Criminal Justice. Following this, Cory attended Auburn University at Montgomery from 2001 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Justice and Public Safety. Lastly, Cory pursued higher education at The George Washington University from 2007 to 2012, graduating with a Masters of Professional Studies from the Graduate School of Political Management.
