Daan Braveman

Daan Braveman is a distinguished legal professional currently serving as Senior Higher Education Counsel at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP since August 2020. Prior to this role, Braveman was President of Nazareth College from January 2005 to June 2020 and held various academic positions, including Professor of Law and Dean at Syracuse University College of Law from January 1977 to January 2005, as well as Visiting Professor of Law at Cardozo School of Law in 2004 and 2003. Early in the career, Braveman worked as a Staff Attorney for the Greater Upstate Law Project and as a Law Clerk to Justice Samuel J. Roberts at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and an A.B. from the University of Rochester.
