Joseph Olka has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Joseph started their career at AACSI, INC in 2003 as a Telecommunication Equipment Installation Manager and Technician, where they managed and led the installation of several large projects across the United States. In 2012, they joined Satern Custom Machine as an Electrical and Automation Technician, where they were responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining electrical and hydraulic machinery. In 2013, they worked as a Wind Turbine Technician at Granite Services, Inc., focusing on the initial startup and operation of GE wind turbines. Since 2014, Joseph has been with Hartfiel Automation, where they have held multiple positions, including Motion Control Engineer, Electrical Applications Engineering Lead, and currently, Regional Engineering Manager. Overall, Joseph has gained expertise in electrical engineering, automation, and project management throughout their career.
Joseph Olka received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Arkansas Grantham between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electrical and Power Transmission from Iowa Lakes Community College. In addition to their formal education, Joseph obtained the UL508A Qualified Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR) certification from UL in December 2020.
