Heather Galang

Heather Galang, DNP, RN, CV-CL, CNL, NPD-BC is a highly experienced nursing professional currently serving as the Director of Quality & Safety at Hartford HealthCare since April 2023 and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Eastern Mennonite University since August 2021. With a robust background in patient safety and quality management, Heather previously held the position of Manager of Patient Safety & Quality at Allina Health, where responsibilities included leading educational initiatives and regulatory compliance for trauma and patient care programs. Throughout a diverse career spanning over a decade, positions have included Nursing Professional Development Specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina, Clinical Performance Improvement Coordinator at Sentara Healthcare, and Clinical Instructor roles at various educational institutions. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from Bridgewater College, an Associate of Science in Nursing from Blue Ridge Community College, and both a Master's of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from James Madison University.
