Sebastian Öhman

Sebastian Öhman is a Senior Innovation Scientist at HARTING Technology Group since August 2023, focusing on innovation management and business development with an emphasis on connecting the All-Electric Society. Prior experience includes serving as a Ph.D. Student at Uppsala University from October 2016 to April 2023 in the Department of Chemistry - Ångström Laboratory. Previous roles encompass a Research and Development Engineer at Sandvik Coromant, where investigations into the wear of cutting tools were conducted, along with a Master Thesis on the influence of inclusions when turning low-alloy steel. Other positions at Sandvik Coromant involved hands-on work as a Coating Machinist and an Operator. Early career experience includes a role as a Technologist with the Ovako Group, focusing on process optimization in steel hardening. Sebastian Öhman holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Material Sciences from Uppsala University.
