Peggy Chen

Peggy (Qian) Chen is an experienced professional in the field of derivatives and corporate coverage, currently serving as the Head of Asia Derivatives Marketing at Hartree Partners since April 2024, focusing on cross-Asia corporate coverage and market making for energy products. Prior to this role, Peggy held various positions at Citi from April 2016 to April 2024, including Vice President of Sales, where responsibilities included coverage of greater China and Singapore corporates in cross commodities derivatives dealing, structuring, and financing. Peggy also served as Assistant Vice President and Analyst in sales, focusing on corporate coverage for China and South Korea and FICC oil and gas derivatives, respectively. Earlier career experience includes an Analyst position at Markit specializing in ETF indices, an internship at Cargill conducting iron ore and steel fundamental research, and a summer analyst role at Barclays Investment Bank. Academic qualifications include studies at the National University of Singapore and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
