Sayyam Mubeen is an experienced research associate at Harvard Business School since January 2021, noted for developing an algorithm to evaluate banks' divestment policies in the coal sector and building a comprehensive firm-level database to assess the impact of these policies on emissions. Previously, as a sustainability analyst at Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, Sayyam utilized World Bank and UNSDG data to standardize ESG indicators and created an interactive Tableau dashboard for measuring country-specific performance on Sustainable Development Goals. Sayyam's experience as a graduate research assistant at Boston University involved analyzing state-level US census data to explore demographic and firm characteristics. Additionally, Sayyam served as a member editor for the 2018 Ramjas Economics Journal and interned at the National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research.
