Viola Spahiu

Viola Spahiu, MSc, is currently a Project Coordinator at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, focusing on therapeutics research and infectious disease epidemiology. Previously, Viola served as a Program Coordinator in the Department of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Health System and held various roles including Diabetes Prevention Educator at The Institute for Family Health and Clinical Research Assistant at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Additional experience includes program coordination for Jersey City Summer Works, research assistance at the University of Rochester Medical Center, marketing and development internship at the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation, and teaching assistance at the University of Rochester. Viola holds an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University, and a dual bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Rochester.
