Heather Brown-Harding

Heather Brown-Harding, Ph.D., serves as an Imaging Scientist at Harvard University, where responsibilities include delivering consultation and training services, providing technical assistance for advanced microscopy equipment, and coordinating conferences. Since November 2019, Heather has also held the position of Communications Group Co-Chair at BioImaging North America. Previously, Heather was a Research Professor and Graduate Teaching Faculty member at Wake Forest University, where notable achievements included securing an NIH research grant and mentoring students successfully placed in prestigious programs. Other roles include Assistant Director of Microscopy and various positions in clinical and research settings, including key account management at ZEISS Microscopy and postdoctoral research at UMass Chan Medical School. Heather earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Florida and a BS in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Rochester.
