Karen Nipps is an experienced library professional with a robust background in rare book curation and management. Serving as the Head of the Rare Book Team at Harvard University since April 1996, Karen has significantly contributed to the preservation and accessibility of rare literary works. Prior to this role, Karen was the Curator at the Library Company of Philadelphia from April 1985 to April 1996. Karen holds a Master of Library Science (MLS) from Columbia University, obtained in 1984, and a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Studies from Vassar College, completed in 1980.
