Ashley Ratigan

Ashley Ratigan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They are currently employed as a Software Engineer at Harvest since December 2021. Prior to that, Ashley worked at GE, where they held the positions of Software Engineer from November 2020 to November 2021, and Software Engineering Specialist from November 2018 to November 2020.

Before transitioning to the field of software engineering, Ashley completed a Web Development Immersive program at General Assembly in 2018, where they gained expertise in JavaScript, React, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Express, Node, Mongoose, and MongoDB.

Ashley also has experience in the field of paleontology, including an internship as an Invertebrate Paleontology Intern at the American Museum of Natural History in 2016 and a Research Fellowship at the Keck Geology Consortium from 2015 to 2016. Overall, Ashley Ratigan brings a diverse skillset and a broad range of experience to their roles as a Software Engineer.

Ashley Ratigan has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University. In 2012, they enrolled at Oberlin College and completed a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Geology and Archaeology. Ashley furthered their education in 2016 by pursuing a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Heritage Management at the University of Kent. Additionally, in 2015, they participated in a Study Abroad Program in Geology at the University of Canterbury. In 2018, Ashley Ratigan attended General Assembly for their Web Development Immersive program.
