Annelies Verspeek - van der Stelt serves as a lecturer and researcher at HAS University of Applied Sciences since August 2021, focusing on food innovation and food waste reduction as part of the SIA-funded consortium project "Voorkomen van Voedselverspilling." In addition, Annelies leads projects such as the Zero Food Waste challenge 2023/2024 and HAS Food Experience 2024, and participates in the ISO working group on food loss and waste. Previous experience includes roles as R&D Senior Consumer Science Specialist at Jacobs Douwe Egberts and as a Sensory and Consumer Scientist at Danone Nutricia Research. Annelies holds multiple degrees in Nutrition and Health and Sensory Science from Wageningen University and the University of Copenhagen.
