Koji Horita

Koji was born in 1990. He passed the 2014 bar examination. After undergoing legal apprenticeship in Shizuoka Prefecture, he joined a law firm specializing in corporate legal affairs in 2015. He is engaged in a wide range of fields such as M&A, intellectual property, and privacy, with a focus on general corporate (handling general meetings of shareholders, etc.), litigation, and crisis management. In 2018, he was seconded to the legal department of Mega Bank, where he was in charge of many legal affairs related to new business development, etc. in the strategy and international legal team. In 2020, he joined LINE Corporation, responsible for security/privacy in the financial department, and has been active as a manager since 2021. In June 2022, he joined HashPort and became an executive officer from October of the same year.
