Thomas John McKetterick

Thomas John McKetterick has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Thomas John most recently worked at Hastings Direct as the Head of Data Delivery and previously held the position of Head of Home Actuarial & Data Science at the same company. Prior to this, they were a Team Lead - Applied Machine Learning at Mind Foundry. Thomas John also has experience as the Head of Data Science at Map of Ag and as a Demand Forecasting Analyst at RAC. Before entering the corporate world, Thomas worked as a Trainee Teacher & Research Associate at Researchers in Schools. Thomas John has an academic background, having been a PhD student in complexity sciences at the University of Bristol and a visiting academic at the University of New Mexico. Thomas also gained experience through summer internships at Antonov and as an undergraduate researcher at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

Thomas John McKetterick received their education from various institutions. Thomas John attended King Henry VIII School Coventry from 2000 to 2007, where they completed their GCSE and A-Levels in subjects such as Maths, further mathematics, physics, and geography. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of physics with industrial experience at the University of Bristol from 2007 to 2011. Following this, Thomas undertook a Master of Research in Complexity science from 2011 to 2012 at the same university. Finally, they earned their highest degree, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering mathematics from the University of Bristol, which they successfully obtained in 2015.
