Charlie Nguyen

Charlie Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Charlie most recently worked at Hasura as a Recruiter, where they were the first US recruiter in the company and recruited across all departments. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Technical Recruiter at Heap for 8 months.

Charlie's longest tenure was at Nutanix, where they held various roles, including Principal Talent Advisor and Sr. Technical Recruiter/Sourcer. At Nutanix, they recruited for engineering, SRE, hardware, and operations roles. Charlie also worked as a Technical Sourcer and was responsible for sourcing candidates.

Before Nutanix, Charlie worked at Tesla Motors as a Technical Recruiter. Charlie began their career as a Technical Recruiter at netPolarity, where they scheduled interviews, screened applicants, and maintained relationships with partners and clients.

In 2012, Charlie had a brief stint at Kabam as a Player Experience Specialist, where they interacted with players through forums and social media and resolved in-game and account issues.

Prior to their career in recruiting, Charlie gained management experience as a Restaurant Manager at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant, where they developed customer relationships, resolved complaints, and improved the marketing strategy.

Charlie also had an internship at Disneyland Resort as part of the College Program, where they provided excellent customer service and handled large crowds of guests.

Charlie Nguyen attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Hospitality Management. In addition to their formal education, Charlie has also pursued various certifications. In March 2013, they obtained the MARS Certification - Master Accreditation in Recruiting and Sourcing. Later, in May 2018, Charlie obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, followed by a certification in Human Resources: Diversity Recruiting from the same institution in June 2018.
