Head of Projects at Hatch Blue

Gonçalo Abreu Santos has a diverse work experience in the aquaculture industry. Gonçalo currently serves as the Head of Projects at Hatch Blue since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Aquaculture Innovation Manager at Hatch Blue from August 2021 to July 2022. Before joining Hatch Blue, they were an Aquaculture Industry Expert at the same company from August 2020 to July 2021.

Previously, Gonçalo worked at Cargill Aqua Nutrition, where they held the position of Global Species Technology Lead - Fish Segment from September 2018 to July 2020. Gonçalo also served as the Species Technology Lead - Aqua (Warm Water) from February 2017 to August 2018.

Prior to Cargill Aqua Nutrition, Gonçalo worked at Biomin. Gonçalo held various roles during their tenure, including R&D Manager - Aquaculture from August 2013 to January 2017, Team leader technical management from August 2012 to July 2013, and Technical Manager - Aquaculture from February 2010 to July 2012.

Gonçalo's career in the aquaculture industry started at Wageningen University, where they worked as a PhD candidate in Fish physiology from 2005 to 2010.

Gonçalo Abreu Santos pursued their education in a chronological order.
