Dror Asaf

Dror Asaf has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dror started their career as a Software Engineer at Jungo in 2010 and worked there until 2013. Dror then joined Jungo Connectivity Ltd as a Software Developer in 2013 and later became the R&D Projects Team Leader.

In 2015, Dror joined Intensix as an Infrastructure Team Leader, where they played a crucial role in designing and architecting healthcare solutions. Dror gained expertise in NoSQL database management, cloud-based development and management, and backend development using Python and Java.

After Intensix, Dror worked at Spotify as a Data Engineer from 2017 to 2019. Dror was responsible for batch data processing and played a vital role in optimizing data processing to reduce expenses significantly. Dror leveraged their skills in Scala, Scio, DataFlow, Python, Luigi, and Beam to contribute to Spotify's key metrics.

In 2019, Dror joined RaySearch Laboratories as a Team Leader and Architect. Dror played a pivotal role in developing RayIntelligence Architect, which is an oncology analytics suite. Dror utilized cloud technologies like AWS and Docker to deliver a cutting-edge product and modernize legacy systems.

Currently, Dror holds the position of Head of Data Infrastructure at Haus, starting from 2022.

Dror Asaf has a diverse education history. Dror obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Luleå University of Technology from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, which they completed from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, Dror has several certifications from Coursera, including Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and the Cybersecurity Specialization. Dror also holds certifications in various subjects such as Cryptography, Software Security, Hardware Security, Usable Security, and more. Furthermore, Dror obtained certifications in different fields like MongoDB development and completed courses in nanotechnology and virology.
