Rosy Raines

Rosy Raines is currently a councillor at Havant Borough Council. Prior to this, they worked as a senior accountant at Capita from January 2019 to March 2020. In this role, they were responsible for producing the Statement of Accounts and related returns for 2 authorities, managing relationships with external auditors, and ensuring all accounting practices were adhered to. Rosy also led on the consolidation and collation of the Capital Programme and the financing of the capital programme, supporting the business in the process and ensuring the correct accounting through to assets.

Raines has also contributed to ensuring the service is delivered to meet contractual performance indicators and commitments, and supported the development of the Authority’s finance system. In addition, they have led and ensured the effective management of staff, including functions such as recruitment, training, professional development, appraisals, regular one to one and team meetings, management of attendance and general performance, capability and competency management.

Rosy Raines has a certification from The Institute of Leadership & Management in Certificate of School Business Management. Rosy also has a certification from ACCA in Fellowship of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
