Mike Gahan

Mike Gahan has extensive work experience in the field of data science and modeling. Mike began their career as an Actuarial Intern at Allstate in 2009 and later interned at Assurity in 2008. In 2010, they became an Actuarial Analyst at Mercer before moving on to the State Farm Research & Development Center in 2012, where they worked as a Statistician until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Metabiota. Since then, they have held various positions at Havas Edge, starting as a Data Science Manager in 2018 and progressing to become a Director of Data Science, Senior Director of Data Science, and currently the VP of Data Science and Modeling.

Mike Gahan earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2006 to 2010. Mike then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2012 and 2013. Additionally, Mike has an Associate in the Society of Actuaries certification, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
