Mehmet Kurtar

Mehmet Kurtar is a System Engineer at HAVELSAN since February 2024, bringing extensive experience from previous roles in the automotive and defense sectors. Prior to this, Mehmet served as a Commercial Vehicles Senior System Engineer at OTOKAR Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş. from March 2021 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading new generation CNG and diesel low floor vehicle projects and managing interior facelift projects. Previously held positions at OTOKAR also included Commercial Vehicles System Engineer and Production Engineer, focusing on product development, prototype production, and assembly management. Mehmet began a career in production engineering at TEMSA from April 2018 to March 2021, overseeing bus production processes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from Istanbul Bilgi University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cukurova University.
