Mark McCray has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Mark served as the Chief Technology Officer at Ultra Energy starting in 2012. Prior to that, they worked at Ultra Electronics, Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation as the Vice President of Engineering from 2008 to 2012. Mark was responsible for leading a multi-discipline engineering team and had knowledge of industry standards. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Quality Systems Manager at Weed Instrument, overseeing quality and customer satisfaction. Mark also worked at Thermo Electron as the Operational Excellence Leader from 2002 to 2005, and as the Director, Technical Services from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they managed technical services at TN Technologies and Texas Nuclear Corporation, and began their career as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger.

Mark McCray attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Mark obtained a certification as a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas (Control Systems) from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in January 1993.
