Aleksandrs B. has extensive work experience in the field of logistics and strategic sourcing. Aleksandrs began their career at McDonald's in 2005 as a Store Manager, where they focused on budgeting, control, and marketing strategy development. Aleksandrs then moved on to become McDonald's Baltic's Purchasing Manager, where they developed and implemented regional strategic purchasing concepts and ensured the implementation of the company's global strategy. In 2007, they joined HAVI as an Operations Manager and McDonald's Baltics Purchasing Manager, where they managed logistics processes across the Baltic region and developed and implemented strategic sourcing concepts. Aleksandrs later served as the DC Operations Manager Kaliningrad/Project Portfolio Manager Region East, responsible for distribution center operations management and project management in multiple countries. In 2015, they became a Senior Specialist in the Global Program Management Office at HAVI, before taking on the role of Head of Logistics Program Management Office in 2017. Aleksandrs is currently the Head of Strategic Sourcing at HAVI, a position they have held since September 2018.
Aleksandrs B. received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) between 1996 and 1999. Aleksandrs then pursued a degree in Business/Managerial Economics and obtained the title of Economist from the same university between 1999 and 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, Aleksandrs obtained a Prince 2 Foundation certificate from APMG International.
