Pierre Bessiere

Pierre Bessiere has a long and varied work history, beginning in 1983 as a PostDoc at SRI International. Pierre then moved to ITMI - CAPGEMINI as an R&D Engineer in 1984 and to the Délégation Générale à l'Armement as an Engineer in the same year. In 1992, they worked as a researcher for both INRIA and INPG. Pierre then moved to the Centre national de la recherche scientifique as a Research Director in the same year. In 2010, they took on the role of Research Director at the Collège de France. In 2019, they became the Founder and scientific adviser at HawAI.tech, and they have been a Scientific counselor at ProBAYES since 2004.

Pierre Bessiere completed a PostDoc at Stanford Research Institute from 1984 to 1985 in the field of Computer Science. Pierre then obtained a PhD from Grenoble INP - UGA between 1981 and 1983 in the same field. Pierre's educational journey began with an Engineering degree from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, which they obtained between 1978 and 1981.
