Randy Wong, Ed.M, CFRE, is a seasoned leader in arts education and nonprofit management, currently serving as President & CEO of Hawaii Youth Symphony while also contributing as an official member of Forbes Nonprofit Council since July 2023. Wong is a professional musician, producing and performing 'Open Flow' Free Jazz music through Red Nova, and has been a bassist with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra since March 2012. As co-founder and president of WAITIKI International LLC, Wong specializes in midcentury Exotica music, while also co-founding Pass Out Records to support Hawaii's emerging artists. With extensive experience in educational leadership and strategic advisory roles, Wong has engaged with organizations like the National Endowment for the Arts and New England Conservatory of Music, holding various academic credentials in nonprofit leadership and music education.
