POSITION SUMMARY:     Under the supervision of the Warehouse Managers, prepares finished goods for delivery, transports finished products to customers, and handles the receiving, transferring, and storage of raw materials, dry goods, supplies, and finished products in designated warehouse areas.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Organizes deliveries by sorting loads based on approved product orders, preparing the necessary documentation, and loading vehicles.
  • Operates a delivery van, box van, or flatbed truck to transport products to customers; unloads product orders, uses hand trucks, and/or carries products to the customer within a specified time frame; obtains customer signatures to confirm delivery.
  • Loads and unloads items such as raw materials and supplies from ocean and air containers.
  • Moves, stores, and organizes supplies, finished goods, and other items in designated areas.
  • Uses a computer tablet for communication, documentation, and delivery information.
  • May determine storage methods, identification, and stock locations by considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, and required space.
  • Performs all duties and maintains standards in alignment with Company policies and procedures.
  • Regular attendance is required for the position.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High school graduate or GED, or equivalent work experience/training.
  • Valid Hawaii State motor vehicle operator's license with a clean driving abstract and a valid DOT physical card.
  • At least six (6) months of warehouse/delivery experience, preferably with retail delivery experience.
  • Must have local commercial driving experience, preferably with a commercial van and/or box van.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
