BetaDwarf is looking for a passionate producer to join us in bringing our biggest game “Project F4E” over the finish line. The game is a hardcore fantasy ARPG with an exciting mix of MOBA and Loot & Extract mechanics. The role of producer will be central in driving our processes and workflows in order to deliver a world-class gaming experience.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excels when working in a team and understands how to motivate and bring out the best in individuals. You will report to our Game Director and be responsible for our day-to-day operations, ensuring on-time delivery of Project F4E within the given priorities and quality. You will act as the main stakeholder in driving forward the delivery of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Development team

  • Create, maintain and track goals, tasks and schedules

  • Planning and running meetings

  • Execute and deliver on the creative vision and set the Milestone Plan

  • Proactively optimize and maintain a smooth pipeline in production

  • Assist developers with administrative, planning and organizational tasks as necessary.

  • Organize playtesting with our community

  • Create a development environment to make us the most efficient Dwarves!

Requirements:

  • A passion for games

  • You have a deep understanding of the production process and working with creative and technical teams

  • You have worked as a producer on core PC and/or console games.

  • You have worked with similar projects and have a knack for jumping into the deep end on a project already in progress.

  • Highly Empathetic and able to motivate a diverse group of Dwarves

  • Deep knowledge of project management methods and tools

  • A structured individual that can find patterns in chaos

  • Being calm and deliberate in a highly dynamic development environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively and frequently with developers, leadership and external partners.

  • Experience with Jira or similar tools

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Efficient Dwarf wrangler

  • A powerful sense of responsibility and passion for creating the best product

Pluses:

  • Experience from AA or AAA games

  • Experience shipping multiple game titles

  • Experience with working with remote and international teams

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Agile development experience, certifications (SCRUM, Kanban, Prince2, …)

  • Not afraid to go out of comfort zone and responsibility area to help the team execute where it’s most needed

  • Experience with MOBAs and/or Loot & Extract games
