Lauren Akeman, CPA, serves as the Accounting Controller at Hawes Group since April 2023, focusing on the preparation of financial statements and monitoring internal controls in line with GAAP. Previously, Lauren held multiple roles at Dentsply Sirona from June 2017 to March 2023, including Senior Region Business Specialist and Clinical Development Manager, where notable achievements included pioneering a new position to enhance integrated dental offices and fostering collaboration within the organization. Earlier experience includes roles as Territory Account Manager at Rexton, Financial Investigator at Citi, and Accounting Assistant at Oaktree Products, Inc. Lauren earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lindenwood University.
