Ryan Wooley

Ryan Wooley's work experience includes being the Chief Technology Officer at Hawken School since 2008. Prior to that, they worked at Kent State University, where they served as the Director of Technology Outreach from 1999 to 2008, Director of Academic Computing from 2006 to 2007, Assistant Director of the Faculty Professional Development Center from 2004 to 2006, and Assistant Director of the Instructional Resources Center from 1999 to 2004. Ryan also worked at Solon Schools as the Technology Coordinator from 1998 to 1999 and as a Teacher from 1997 to 1998. In their roles, Ryan Wooley demonstrated leadership skills, managed teams, implemented technology initiatives, and optimized operations.

Ryan Wooley has a strong educational background in the field of education and instructional technology. Ryan has a PhD in Educational Psychology/ Instructional Technology, which they obtained from Kent State University from the years 2000 to 2007. Prior to their PhD, they earned a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Instructional Technology from the same university between 2000 and 2004. In 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a focus on Secondary Language Arts at Kent State University. Ryan Wooley's undergraduate studies were completed at The University of Akron, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from 1990 to 1995. In addition to their degrees, Ryan Wooley has obtained a State of Ohio Teaching License from the Ohio Department of Education.
