Shaiju T Kandy

Shaiju T Kandy has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Shaiju currently serves as the Deputy Chair of NZASRDP (New Zealand Australia Society of Renal Dialysis Practice) since 2023. Shaiju is also a Board Member of CPRB NZ, the Clinical Physiology Registration Board of New Zealand, starting in 2022.

In their previous roles, Shaiju served as the Professional Lead and Clinical Physiology at Hawke's Bay District Health Board from 2019 to present, where they also held the position of Renal Service Manager starting in 2019. Prior to this, they were a Board member and treasurer of NZASRDP since 2011.

Shaiju has extensive experience as a healthcare professional. Shaiju was an Associate Clinical Manager in Renal at HBDHB from 2017 to 2019 and worked as a Clinical Haemodialysis Technologist at ADHB from 2004 to 2008. Shaiju began their career as a Clinical Haemodialysis Technologist at NKF Singapore from 2001 to 2004.

Shaiju T Kandy started their education at GBHS Balussery, Calicut, although the specific years of attendance are unknown. Shaiju then enrolled in Zamorins Guruvayoorappna College in Calicut, Kerala, India from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. Finally, they attended Govt Arts & Science College in Meenchanda, Calicut, although the degree and field of study for this time period remain unspecified.
