Yeshiak Mekonnen

Yeshiak Mekonnen is a qualified professional with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, complemented by earlier studies at Montgomery College. Yeshiak has gained valuable experience as a Project Intern at Hawkeye MedTech since August 2021, where current responsibilities include managing health-related projects. Prior experience includes serving as a Contact Tracer at NORC at the University of Chicago, effectively communicating with contacts of newly diagnosed cases with an emphasis on empathy and cultural awareness.
