Simon Batt Ceng Fimeche

Simon Batt CEng FIMechE is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in performance analytics and forensic investigation. Currently serving as a Forensic Investigator at Hawkins & Associates since May 2022, Simon previously held multiple roles at Siemens Aero Derivative Gas Turbines, including Head of Performance and Analytics and Performance and Engine Health Monitoring Engineer from August 2015 to May 2022. Prior to this, Simon was the Performance and Economy Lead Engineer for Advanced Engines at Jaguar Land Rover from March 2011 to August 2015 and worked as a Gas Turbine Performance Engineer at Rolls Royce from August 2007 to March 2011. Simon began a career at Jaguar Land Rover as a Mechanical Development Engineer from September 2004 to August 2007. Simon holds an MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1999 and 2004.
