Adam Cossey

Civic, Community And Culture Sector Lead at Hawkins Brown Architects

Adam studied Social and Urban Geography at Reading University, before completing architecture at the AA and the Bartlett. Adam has experience working at a number of scales, from masterplanning to working closely with communities.

Before joining Hawkins\ Brown Adam worked at dRMM on a range of projects within the residential sector, including and The Arthouse, KXC and Battersea Power Station, as well as a number education-related projects including primary and secondary schools. More recently he was involved with masterplanning and design guidance for the Olympic fringe sites.

Adam firmly believes in the social aspects of the built environment, and has set up a number of design workshops with children as well as giving presentations in a number of schools.

In his spare time Adam is an avid car enthusiast and a keen runner.
